Peter Davis is a prize-winning contemporary fine artist based in North West England, known for his compelling portraits and urban landscape paintings that explore modern societal narratives, identity, and human connection. His thought-provoking work—which has tackled themes such as mental health, race, ageing, and technology addiction—aims to challenge preconceptions and encourage empathy by viewing the world from different perspectives.

Holding a strong presence in the British art scene, Peter’s work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions including the National Portrait Gallery’s Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award, the John Moores Painting Prize, and the Aesthetica Art Prize. His paintings are part of numerous museum, institutional, and private collections. He is an elected member of both the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts (MAFA) and the Contemporary British Portrait Painters (CBPP), and he actively engages with the community through school workshops and portrait commissions.
